Site is great. Just sent an email with picture to add my car to your registry. Would like to know if anyone is aware of how I could find out approxiamtely 1975 Medium Saddle Convertibles with the L-48 and 4 speed manual transmissions were made? I have the black book which provides information such as in 1975 there were 3K+ convertibles made, 1K+ 4-speeds, etc, but no where does it tell you how many of any specific combination were made. I know those stats must be available somewhere, but just haven't been able to locate them. I was told at Corvettes at Carlisle this year that my 75 medium saddle convertible with the L-48 and 4 speed is a rare one. Would like to find out more about the numbers. Any ideas?

What a great site. You obviously enjoy working with your hands as I do. I'm in the middle of a body off restoration. Actually it's my wife and I. She finished sandblasting the frame and applied the primor today. I'll send photos when its done. We're going for NCRS specs.
Take care and thanks for sharing your ride with us.

I printed your Vacuum Troubleshooting and was able in short order to make the headlights and vacuum door work again. It was simply a matter of plugging in the three hoses to the correct male ports. THANKS A LOT. I will replace the check valve (it failed your blow test) and the filter (to be safe).

Nice vehicle. You have obviously done an excellent job in your restoration. I just got my vehicle two days ago and I am doing some research before starting to rebuild. Body and frame appear very good with the exception of the rear bumper cover which is coming apart - seems to be a model year problem. Car runs well but interior and brakes need lots of TLC. Keep up the good work.

I am new to vettes, but believe Dad & I have a fun one to restore when he retires next year. We have the body off the '61, and have got a mess on our hands, but will make sense of it once we start to replace the wiring. I was wondering if '75 was officially the last year for the convertible until '86? I found an '81 convertible for sale on ProTeam's (Napoleon, OH) site and they said 37 were produced that year, 26 with a Duntov serial number. Were these custom requests?

I seen your 1975 white corvette stringray. I am currently in the situation in which I am almost about to buy the same exact car. The seller said that the NADA blue book value was from $18K to $26K. I have talked him down to $17K for the car. This particular vette has is a convertable with the hard top option. It has a 4 speed manual transmission. 50K miles. All origional. No accidents, vin numbers all match. Origional paint. No rust. Even tolerances. A few small cracks on the front bumper. Since you have purchased the same car with the same amount of miles, do you have and suggestions, comments, objections? Do you think the car is really worth 17K?
your response is appreciated

Also, I saw a site that was for a '75 registry, but that site is no longer available. Was that yours perchance?

Just bought this 75 convertible with a 4 speed and blue leather interior.
No air and 60,000 miles. I'am looking forward to restoration. Your sight
looks like a lot of help. Keep adding new information. Thanks

Great web site!! Just purchased a 1975 numbers matching, Steel Blue
(27L/142) convertible, automatic/air. Needs some restoration, but all
original parts are there. This is my 5th restoration (1st '75) and most
unique yet. Welcome tips and direction from more experienced '75 owners.
